President, CEO, Co-founder
Kenneth Raab has over 40+ years of experience in Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) companies and in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. Prior to establishing Sonic, Mr. Raab held operations, quality, and engineering management positions at the MQA Division of Stanford Telecom. He was instrumental in establishing effective and responsive manufacturing capabilities for low-to-medium volume production at MQA. Prior to this he was at Wave-tek Microwave. Mr. Raab has studied Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
Vice President of Engineering, Co-founder
Robert Pereyda has over 40+ years of experience in printed circuit board design and manufacturing, metal fabrication operations, and electronics manufacturing and design. He has particular expertise in new product design where he continues to lead numerous projects ranging from Innovative Biomedical device products, to space flight experiments. In more recent years, he has bridged the technological gap for Sonic by spearheading numerous IOT developmental and top secret projects. Robert continues to design and be involved at the cutting edge of technology while enhancing the capabilities of Sonic to be at the front end of technological processes. Mr. Pereyda was the Director of Technical Services at Stanford Telecom and holds mechanical design patents from his work at Autek Systems.
Chief Process Engineer, Co-founder
Henry Woo has over 40+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing. He previously held management positions at Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) companies and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers. Mr. Woo’s career includes working with Shugart Associates, Apple Computer, Flextronics, and MQA Stanford Telecom. He was a key contributor in establishing Flextronics’ first U.S. manufacturing facility. Mr. Woo holds an Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Vice President of Supply Chain
David Ginsberg is the Vice President of Supply Chain Management for Sonic Manufacturing Technologies. Previously, he has held supply chain roles at Net Optics, Stratalight, Opvista, Hammerhead, Alantec, and Stanford Telecom. He has served professionally on the Inventory Management Committee of APICS National, as President of APICS Santa Clara Valley, and as a technical advisor to ecommerce and analytics companies. At Sonic, Mr. Ginsberg developed the self-correcting data systems & rapid supply chain processes that have enabled the business to grow alongside the increasing market demand for time-compressed deliveries. With its innovative data-driven supply chain model, Sonic has successfully brought back several hundred offshored assemblies in head-to-head cost-competition with low-cost regions, supporting “Made in America” with sound economics. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, an M.B.A., CFPIM certification from APICS, and S&OP certification from the S&OP Institute.
Vice President of Operations
Mr. Roy Singh has over 25+ years of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry experience. Mr. Singh has a proven track record in operations, personnel management, and leadership. He brings to Sonic his strengths and expertise in quality, operations, logistics, and strategic planning, as well as his unique strengths in replacing manual efforts with integration, error-free automated feedback loops, self-correcting data, and expert systems.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Manmeet Wirk brings to Sonic over 30+ years of experience within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. She has been instrumental in creating awareness for Sonic in the local Bay Area. She has worked diligently to establish a reputation for Sonic as a stable, approachable easy-to-do business local EMS provider. In her role as head of marketing, she continues to keep Sonic center stage in all social media interaction. Prior to joining Sonic, Ms. Wirk was at Sanmina-SCI were she helped grow the New Product Introduction (NPI) Division in San Jose, California. Prior to Sanmina-SCI, she worked at Solectron through the company’s acquisition of Fine Pitch. Ms. Wirk’s efforts at Fine Pitch/Solectron supported $150 million annual revenue, across multiple sites. Ms. Wirk holds a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University in India.
CFO
Kiran Kaur brings Sonic over 20+ years of accounting experience. She has streamlined the operations within Sonic for both the Finance group and the HR group. She spearheads both departments with equal strength and agility. Sonic has seen tremendous growth and stability under Kiran’s guidance and continues to grow. Prior to joining Sonic, Ms. Kaur worked across multiple markets. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration for Cal State Hayward in California.
Quality Manager
Alejandro De Leija brings over 20 years of expertise in quality and manufacturing. At Sonic Manufacturing, he leverages his extensive experience, including previous leadership roles at SEISA, where he led a transference project and developed a robust validation system. His earlier role as QA Manager at Hoover involved fostering a Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement environment enhancing KPIs performance. Alejandro has also worked as a Validation/Project Engineer and Lean Manufacturing Engineer for major projects at Pulsar Vascular, Codman, Cerenovus, and BWI within Johnson & Johnson. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering, has been certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and Quality Engineer (QAE) by ASQ and has Management Systems ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certifications from BSI.
