ELSI announced today that it has entered into a long-term manufacturing agreement

Energy & Life Science Innovations, Inc. – ELSI (the parent company of Global Energy Innovations, Inc., Power Products, Inc. and several other energy and life science companies) announced today that it has entered into a long-term manufacturing agreement with Sonic Manufacturing Technologies to manufacture all ELSI products. Sonic is one of the premier regional turnkey contract manufactures in Silicon Valley, California. Sonic offers regional and global customers complete product lifecycle electronics manufacturing services.
“We have selected Sonic because they bring a long-standing level of quality control processes, production experience and supply chain knowledge to our products,” said Kurt Salloux, President and CEO of ELSI. “Sonic will be our complete manufacturing solution, from printed circuit board assembly and test to final assembly of all ELSI products. This allows ELSI to focus on technology development and innovation in the energy and life science space, leaving Sonic focused on the manufacturing and supply chain part of our business.”
Ken Raab, president, CEO and co-founder of Sonic is also excited about the Sonic-ELSI partnership. “Our strength is working with companies like ELSI from the design concept phase through full production,” said Raab. “We take pride in manufacturing in the United States and feel the ELSI products fit perfectly into our skill and manufacturing capabilities.”
ELSI will be closing its operations in Amador County, California where it currently does all of its manufacturing and product assembly, by the end of December 2012.
