Harvest RAMPs Up the Volume with a $1.65 million CEC Grant

Sonic Manufacturing is proud to announce our role as a Manufacturing Partner with Harvest.

Harvest has achieved so much in such a short time: strong sales, delighted customers, a Pod that keeps getting smarter – and lots of media and investor attention that allows us to decarbonize even more homes. 

I’m especially proud today because the California Energy Commission awarded Harvest a $1.65 million RAMP grant to scale up production and deliver the smartest HVAC on Earth at a faster clip.

We applied for RAMP (Realizing Accelerated Manufacturing and Production) over 2 years ago. It was incredibly competitive and required lots of due diligence – only 9 start-ups out of 50 received funding. But we did it!

Standing up an HVAC company is hard, to say the least.  It requires juggling many different priorities. We’re so fortunate to have an experienced and dedicated manufacturing team that ensures our supply chain is frictionless and our contractors receive the necessary gear to install Harvest without delay. Invisible to homeowners, it takes a lot of focus, resources, and adaptation. 

Support from the California Energy Commission will help Harvest increase deployments at a lower cost, and with the same high quality that our customers expect.
